Oh phooey. Apparently, the Portland judge is as obtuse as ours in Yamhill County. Note how this joker was on probation for an earlier Polk County robbery. Sure, let him out. Let them all out.

Robbing a bank is never okay, but this story makes me curious to know the rest of the story. Was his daughter really denied entrance to the college or was that just a handy excuse for committing a crime?
