That's what we need more of: "fierce women."

In Oregon you are lucky if a person even realizes they are male or female.

The Urban Dictionary notes that "fierce" is often used nowadays to mean "the combination of a positive mental spirit, bold words and unapologetic actions." Standing up for oneself.

Coco

Keep encouraging fierceness in women! Nice job.

Sponge

I guess I need an urban dictionary. I want to encourage my sons to be fierce men, as well. We should all be so unmistakably fierce with each other. This new urban ferocity will be essential to our sense of community and common good. Fierce men need to be nurtured for this ferocious reality. Life will be better with more fierceness from all of us.
