Kirby Neumann-Rea/News-Register##Art in the Parlor: Sabrina Lavos of McMinnville shows her paintings to her parents, Carran and Dan Lovas, at a pop-up art gallery Feb. 10 at Parlor Tattoo and Zen Gallery, 426 N.E. Third St., in downtown McMinnville. Co-owner Natalie Fletcher taught the week-long after-school art workshop and invited friends and family to the second-story business to view the teens’ artwork. “It was fun experimenting,” with a variety of techniques, said Sabrina, who has taken a variety of classes and looks forward to more. Fletcher said working with young people is a source of joy and plans future workshops. “It was as many people as we’ve had at one time up here,” said Fletcher, who in addition to body art, does murals and a wide range of works, including coordinating the McMinnville Downtown Association street corner paintings each June.
