Dec 18, 2013

News-Register Staff

The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement warning that roads may be slick for the morning commute.

Areas of freezing fog are predicted. Rain Wednesday evening, combined with overnight temperatures below freezing may leave roads dangerously icy by morning, the statement warns.

Travelers should give themselves extra time in the morning, drive with caution and watch for black ice.
