Human remains found last Saturday in the Wolf Creek area have been identified as former McMinnville resident Timothy Dale Fenimore, 44, who went missing a month ago. The family confirmed the identity following an autopsy and initial forensic examination on Tuesday by the Oregon State Medical Examiner's Office.
Fenimore, who was living in Newberg, went missing under suspicious circumstances on April 18 while visiting a residence in the Wolf Creek area. He reportedly left on foot and was not seen or heard from again.
His family offered a reward of up to $1,500 to help locate him.
On May 17 at approximately 1:45 p.m., Oregon State Police dispatch was notified that a couple was walking along Lower Grave Creek in the 8100 block of Lower Grave Creek Road and found what appeared to be a body. OSP detectives and forensic personnel responded to gather evidence and recovered the remains for positive identification.
