Have proceedings sponsored by the YCEA (your fellow employees) -- and don't reveal that the emcee is a campaign manager for a candidate -- how many more would have declined knowing this?

Kulla is a farmer who wants more bike paths as if that was a priority over paying the bills we already don’t have money for because of PERS.

He also thinks he can go to law school while being a commisioner and full time farmer, must be nice.

Rojas is a Public Union leader who wants to see Public Union workers get a pay increase. Thanks to public unions are school budgets have to be cut to pay for PERS.

So two big government guys vs Primozich and Yates.

Primozich obligated Yamhill County to multi million dollar debt deal with Metro to build bike paths. Yates is running to stop the debt creation Primozich has pushed through without a public vote.

Why are public unions holding debates? They only support people who feed off of us who pay taxes.

I think the commission should consider rescheduling their joint public meetings with local jurisdictions at a time other than that immediately preceding an election to avoid the appearance of attempting to use the office for personal political gain. They have scheduled multiple of these joint meetings in the leadup to the primary election. It would be much better for commissioners to schedule the meetings *AFTER* an election because that is the point at which they have a mandate to govern.
