The Mac Spinners get together every second and fourth Thursday evening at the Oregon Knitting Company, 309 N.E. Baker St., in McMinnville. Other spinners are welcome, members said, and people interested in the craft can visit to learn more about spinning.

Knitters sometimes join the group, as well, although the shop also hosts knitting gatherings from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays.
