Partnership fosters classical concerts
“This is an exciting opportunity for the Linfield community to hear and meet outstanding musicians from the chamber music world,” said Faun Tiedge, chair of the music department. “The new partnership with FOCM offers us the possibility to share in a roster of guest chamber music groups touring in Portland.”
Friends of Chamber Music is a nonprofit dedicated to presenting high quality chamber ensembles in concert and providing educational outreach. It sponsors the longest uninterrupted chamber music series in Oregon and the sixth longest in the country.
Two of its visiting ensembles, Pacifica Quartet and Trio con Brio Copenhagen, will perform this season in the Richard and Lucille Ice Auditorium on campus.
