I'm sure they are constrained by ADA rules, but I wish they could manage to consider drainage when they install the new ramps---there are lakes in the ones near me whenever it rains.

Very Interesting, However there needs to be an alignment of laws that also carry over to side walks in front of Business's, A very dangerous situation exist here that seemingly permits the business owner to do nothing to keep up maintenance on side walks in front of their business. I had a Bad fall in front of a business two years ago caused by a misaligned side walk that had been ignored for maintenance repairs. there are several stores with this problem. Why is they can't be fined for such a discrepancy ? Any one who falls I would recommend a personal accident Laywer & stay away from the Buisness Insurance.

I've lived in my home on Galloway in Mac for 16 years, all of them confined to a power wheelchair. I call my neighborhood The Land that Curb Cuts Forgot. Over the years they've added a few, between the high school and the north side of 13th, and sporadically between 11th and 8th (meaning some blocks I can get on the sidewalk only to find no cut at all at the other end). Evans is the only properly cut street leading downtown, but there aren't enough cuts between it and Galloway to get there safely. They really need to look at Adams by the Aquatic Center, too. I took Adams to the library a few weeks ago as I had business further up the street, and while there is a definite dip in the surface of the sidewalk, it stops so far above the street that it's not legal or safe, or even usable. I tried twice to get onto it but came so close to tipping over into traffic that in the end I opted to walk in the street.
