MEDP adds new marketing intern

Geoffrey Hamilton has joined the McMinnville Economic Development Partnership as a marketing intern. His term runs through May.

A lifetime resident of Sheridan, he is now in his senior year at Linfield College, where he is pursuing a double-major in economics and mathematics.

At Linfield, he serves as a tutor and counselor in Upward Bound, a college prep program for high school students. He is active in school clubs and serves as a peer advisor for transfer students.

Hamilton said he is excited about the opportunity. “I hope to assist MEDP with its goal of making McMinnville an ideal place to cultivate new and existing businesses,” he said.

Executive Director Jody Christensen said, “There are a variety of important projects happening in McMinnville. We are excited to have Geoff join the MEDP team.”
