McMinnville man found dead in Salem

SALEM — Andrew Arthur Entizne, 32, of McMinnville has been identified by Salem police as the man found dead in a vehicle about 3 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Fairway Avenue and Rees Hill Road SE.
Officers responded to multiple reports of shots fired in the area, according to police When the arrived they located a silver sedan in a ditch with a deceased male inside.
An autopsy was scheduled for Sunday.
There were no obvious gunshot wounds, Marion County Deputy District Attorney Henry Loebe told the Statesman Journal newspaper.
Neighbors told the paper they heard what they described as loud bangs or pops in the early morning hours.
"I just heard bang, bang, bang," a neighbor said. "I didn't hear anything before it. I didn't hear anything after it. No voices. No cars. Just three bangs and nothing else."
Another neighbor said she heard popping sounds like a car backfiring in the middle of the night. It wasn't until she drove to work that she realized something had happened.
