Gym Jam Saturday

Admission is $5. Participants must have their parents sign an insurance waiver.

This year’s Gym Jam is dedicated to the Vaughn Monagon family, who recently lost 4-year-old Aden to an aggressive brain tumor.  The family has been involved with FCA since it started at Mac High, Vaughn as a member of the adult leadership team, and as a planner and recruiter for both Fields of Faith and Gym Jam; wife Tracie as a photographer at these events, and hostess for the student leadership team, which meets at the Monagon home on Monday nights; daughter Caitlyn, a junior at MHS, as co-captain the past two years; and daughter Courtney, a sophomore, as a huddle member.

Several area churches will partner in Gym Jam 2013, along with Young Life and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapters from Linfield College and George Fox University. Any profit will go to the Monagons to help with expenses resulting from the illness that claimed Aden.
