As the council continues to do this while not adhering to open meeting laws what are our options as citizens of this county? Should we voice our concerns to the State Attorney's Office? Will they investigate or take action? I personally believe it's important to know when certain people are against unions, I believe that has a direct connection to whether they're fit to hold public office or not.

public meeting law violations in Oregon are investigated by the oregon government ethics commission. Its pretty easy to lodge a complaint. they are at www.oregon.gov/ogec. pretty amazing actions over at the courthouse aren't they? What do they want to hide anyway????

Only one additional reason why they're considered untrustworthy. They bring it on themselves.

What do they want to hide, you ask? Sometimes it seems like pretty much everything.

If they feel the need to hide what they are doing from their constituents then they aren't serving their constituents who pay their salaries. Commissioners with secrets are obviously being secretive because they are not doing what the majority of citizens want or hired them to do. We know if they were doing with the people wanted they would be very proud to do it openly and publicly.

What? The control the public unions have over the Ds in the legislature is exactly why Oregon's unfunded PERS liability is over $20B. Blind acquiescence has never been a proper or effective form of governing.
