So is it Saturday Aug 3 and Sunday Aug 4 or Monday Aug 6 and Sunday Aug 7???

Apparently, it's midnight to 7 a.m. both Aug. 7 and Aug. 8.

To be clear, the outage starts tonight at midnight and runs through 6 a.m. (I am posting this Monday, August 6, 2018, 4:40 p.m.) An identical outage will occur tomorrow night at midnight and run through 6 a.m.

Comcast reports the outage is scheduled through 6 a.m. both dates, not 7 a.m. as originally noted. The outage includes cable television, internet and telephone services. Comcast urges those with voice service to arrange alternative methods of calling in case of emergency as Comcast telephone will be offline during these times.

Round one is over. Last night's (technically this morning's) outage commenced a few minutes after midnight and ran until about 2:35 a.m. Yes, that was considerably shorter than the midnight to 6 a.m. scheduled.

Tonight (I am posting this on Tuesday, August 7 @ 5:10 p.m.) we'll experence round two, scheduled from midnight until 6 a.m.
