Can't Church on the Hill baptize people a little more quietly?

Good for you, Jeff Cox! Call their bluff.

This is the most absurd complaint I've ever heard. A church service, however exuberant, is in no way comparable to a night-long Independence Day fireworks celebration. To make that claim illustrates the lengths to which some folks will go just to have something about which they can complain.

I would wager that these same complainers are some of those sour-faced old folks who lament bygone days when people took responsibility for their actions. And yet, they contribute to the problem by vociferously and shamelessly griping to all within earshot whenever the slightest discomfort arises.

How pathetic must one's life be to try to ruin the excitement of others.
