Nathan Knottingham will follow Phil Hutchinson in the role of president/CEO of the Greater McMinnville Chamber of Commerce.
Chamber leaders announced Knottingham's hiring late Friday afternoon. He will join the Chamber Nov. 11 and work with Hutchinson until the current leader retires at the end of December.
Knottingham is a fourth-generation Oregonian who grew up mostly in Salem. He and his wife, Billie, have two preschoolers.
He holds a degree in business management and English communication and a master's degree in business administration, both from Corban University in Salem. He has managed large and small businesses and run his own company.
Knottingham plays bass, performing in a variety of musical genres. He loves to read and enjoys family friendly movies.
He said he is looking forward to moving to McMinnville and joining the Chamber. "I'm passionate about leadership development in the community, relationship building and continuing education for any business that wants to grow their team," he said.
