Carlton police host child ID day

Parents can pick up free child ID kits and safety material. They can also have their children’s fingerprints taken and heights and weights recorded.

Representatives of Juliette’s House will be on hand with information and coloring books. Dutch Brothers will provide refreshments.

Willamina to fill committee seats

WILLAMINA — The Willamina City Council will make appointments to the budget committee and planning commission when it meets at 7 p.m. Thursday at city hall.

The council is also scheduled to consider a request for use of Tina Miller Park as a summer feeding location.

Amity School Board to meet

AMITY — The Amity School Board is scheduled to meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, to discuss a transportation contract and other issues. The public meeting will be held in the district office, 801 Trade St.

The board will also consider policies, finances and Willamette Education Service District involvement. Students are scheduled to make a presentation on the robotics program.

Auditing contract up in Yamhill

YAMHILL — City councilors will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, to consider a contract with an auditing firm. The public session will be held in council chambers, adjacent to city hall.
