Crews restore power in northeast McMinnville
Update: 7:05 Rosenbalm said that power should now be restored. He said that balloons had become tangled in the power lines.
McMinnville Water & Light crews are responding to a power outage in the areas of 10th Street from Baker east, and on Evans, from Fourth to 19th streets, according to Electricity Distribution Supervisor Scott Rosenbalm.
Rosenbalm said that crews are on the way and are still figuring out what caused the outage.
Widespread outages also were reported around noon in McMinnville and Newberg, but were resolved fairly quickly.
