McMinnville stabbing suspect arrested

A McMinnville man was arrested Sunday morning on charges alleging he stabbed a 21-year-old male in the parking lot of the Muchas Gracias Mexican Restaurant, 220  N.E. 12th St.

Capt. Tim Symons of the McMinnville police gave this account:

About 4 a.m., officers responded to the business on a report of a fight involving a knife. It was determined a physical altercaiton occurred and one of the involved individuals was stabbed in the right hand with a knife.

Identified as a McMinnville resident, he was treated at the scene by McMinnville Fire Department medical personnel and did not require hospitalization.

The suspect was identified as Chad Anthony Holt, 26. He was charged with one count each of second-degree assault, second-degree disorderly conduct and fourth-degree domestic assault. He was lodged in the Yamhill County Jail on $162,500 bail.

A second suspect, Natasha Mercedes Gross, 24, of McMinnville, was cited and released on one count each of second-degree criminal mischief and harassment.
