SHERIDAN – The Dragons continued their surge through the Class 3A/2A/1A Special District 2 table with a 4-0 home roasting of the Gervais Cougars Tuesday afternoon.

Colin Koenig converted a 9th minute PK for the first of his two goals on the afternoon as the Dragons out-possessed their guests by almost 20 minutes. Koenig’s second strike came in first-half stoppage time, while his brother Nick Koenig netted one in the 49th and set up Pablo Garza’s wide open header in the 33rd.

Delphian (5-2-1, 4-1-1 SD2) has now won five consecutive matches. They’ll face first place Blanchet Catholic in Salem on Thursday at 4:15 p.m. The Cavaliers are undefeated in league play.
