Yamhill man cited following crash
A Yamhill man was cited following a three-vehicle crash about 10 a.m. Monday at the intersection of North Highway 99W and Lafayette Avenue.
McMinnville police gave this account:
Luis Vidart Miura, 64, of 575 E. First St., was heading northeast on Highway 99W when he ran a red light at the intersection and collided with two other vehicles.
The other two drivers were identified as Dan Linscheid, 65, of Dallas, who was crossing the highway from Grandhaven St., and Yvette Romo, 30, of 2905 N.E. Evans St., McMinnville, who was crossing from Lafayette Avenue.
The three drivers and a passenger in Romo’s vehicle, Diane Chladek, 54, of 1132 S.E. Brooks St., McMinnville, were transported by McMinnville Fire Department ambulance to the Willamette Valley Medical Center for treatment.
Miura was charged with three counts of fourth-degree assault and one count of reckless driving. He was cited into McMinnville Municipal Court, but not taken into custody.
