School district boards to meet

Amity board meets Wednesday

AMITY — School board members will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, at the district office, 807 Trade St. They plan to discuss policies, finances and maintenance.

A board and administrator question-and-answer session will precede the business meeting at 6 p.m. at the same location. An executive session will follow so the board can confer on labor negotiations.

Dayton board to set goals 

DAYTON — School board members will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, in the district office to consider Dayton School District goals and Willamette Education Service District services.

The board also plans to discuss finances, school improvement programs and other issues. An executive session will follow to consider the dismissal or disciplining of an employee.

McMinnville to consider policies

McMinnville School Board members will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8, to discuss policies and student travel plans. The public meeting will be held in the district office, 1500 N.E. Baker St.

The board also plans to appoint a new member of the budget committee. Three applicants were interviewed in September.

Willamina eyes superintendent plan

WILLAMINA — The school board plans to discuss a plan for filling the superintendent’s position next year when it meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the school library.

This is the final year of Gus Forster’s contract, so the discussion will also include extending his contract. In addition, an executive session will be held at 6:30 to review Forster’s performance.
